Secret loli pet peeves

Yes, jumping on the band wagon. There has been some interesting one that I have read through the 4 blogs I've stumbled upon.

It is nice to see people letting down that hidden panel to reveal what bugs them greatly about stuff. So what are my 5 pet peeves of Lolita.

1: It is just too short. D:
Like a number of us in the loli community we are taller than 5'4" which can bring the trouble of length to our attention. We love our brand, even if it is just one item. Doesn't matter if it is a top or bottom or dress we run the risk it won't fit some where.
May it be the length of the sleeve or the hem of skirt, it can get annoying. We all look for ways of how to hide it from the simple wrist cuffs to the underskirt or extra ruffle. Though in some cases, camera angle or body posture is a secretive way of doing things.

2. Your petti isn't fluffy enough! :O
*look about* I'm not saying I hate there being no fluffed up skirt, I hate being told that I have to have a mega fluffed up skirt. Seriously it can take away a good few extra inches away from the leg and me being about 5'7", I don't want to be flashing that much extra leg to people if I can help it. Remember it is a modest fashion to begin with.

3. My hair
Ok, that is a more personal thing but dammit, why not complain about it. I once spent 4 hours using a curling iron just to have all my curls die with an hour. I've tried so many ways to get my hair to work but it hates me. The only reason I had any curls in my picture at the winter meet up is because I used a lot of hair spray. Now if only I didn't love that prefect curl bunched up pig tail style with the straight fringe and front sides. Cruse my love for it.

4. Why no love for normal glasses?
Yeah, I get it super big geeky glasses are the fashion right now in the fashion and one of the most accepted eye ware next to contacts but why must I feel ashamed a little for having these specs. I can't see without them and I'm terrified of anything going close to my eyes, that may end up poking them. I'm stuck with these because of such a thing happened to me. :( I don't like wearing glasses, I've tried to go without but migraines and walking into a lamp post is kinda not fun. These are the secrets I've hated the most in the past. We can take them off because we can't see and not all of us want to wear or can wear contacts. Though I would love laser surgery but I hear the pin you eyes open while you are awake. I'm sorry, knock me the heck out first please. kthxbai.

5. ... "Elites"
The so called people we must look up to and be like and follow in their steps to greatness. No, thank you. I rather just be me, wearing what I want. Yes, I make mistakes here and there but who doesn't it. Doesn't mean I want someone to take my hand and tell me what to do and not. Sure you can share you knowledge and views but don't get upset if I want to try and find a way to try to make it work. Is it that the fun thing with fashion, I openly admit when I think I've ita myself down the wrong path. Plus I think it would be more fun to have tried something sharing how terrible it went than saying "They told me not to, so I didn't and neither should you." I think I rather have the something more along the lines of "That is what happened with me, I've heard of few other horror stories but it is up to you if you want to try." I think that sounds more personal and you never know, someone may make what seem like the impossible possible.

Well that is my 5 top peeves of the fashion. What are yours? Share? Discuss? Whatever, just have fun. :D
